“no i don’t think my art has changed all that much in the past three years- you know what, never mind”

been outside all day and was literally giggling and kicking my feet at the thought of finishing this, I love them so much

"Are you fourteen or why is your cap on the wrong way?"

"Darling," Jackson says with a frown as Zero makes to leave the house. Zero looks up to meet brows knit in feigned concern.

Despite the gentle mocking, Jackson's hands reach for Zero's face and draw them in. Zero's lips pull into an amused smile as they're already pressed to Jackson's.

"Yea," they say as the two of them pull apart, still grinning, "fourteen years younger than you."

They flee outside before Jackson descends an entire flock of winged gaelic insults down on them that would have been decidedly more ungentle than his previous words.
