Okay… how about characters from John Wick who you think could be redeemed?

Redemption is a sort of difficult thing to place when it comes to John Wick considering most of their characters aren’t necessarily morally “good” to an average standard, as the way they measure goodness is by the honor and respect they hold.

But sure!! Here are some characters who I think could be redeemed if they had a little more time.

To start things off— Akira. She’s not an antagonist… yet. But she is about to go down that path with the Caine spinoff and is heavily implied that she is about to take her revenge on him. So, antagonist. She could be redeemed, as it’s very early on in her antagonistic route. The only reason she’s hunting Caine down is because her vision is clouded by revenge, and anger she holds for him due to having her father be killed by him right in front of her eyes. It’s a traumatic experience that she connects to Caine, and Akira doesn’t even know the whole story yet. Her path to revenge is only beginning, but that means she has time to earn knowledge and possibly have a similar quest to John.

The Shinobi and Zero. I know this seems like an odd choice, but hear me out. Of course, the only reason they even hunt John down is because they’re big fans and also because the Adjudicator hired them to do so. They don’t seem “villainous” as their motive to killing John is simply just out of idolization. I think if all of them toned their idolization down a bit, they’d be good allies to John. But you know, that wouldn’t make for entertaining villains lmao

I feel like any of the bodyguards could be redeemed….. except for Chidi tbh that mf likes being a menace💀💀 I think the reason why they’re even in the High Table and even hunt down John is because they’re just tied down like everyone else. For example, Cassian with Gianna.

Zero is agender and aroace, and accepts all pronouns. There is absolutely nothing sexual about their obsession with John Wick. Nuh-uh. No way.
