Toxic masculinity  from a trans masc Schlatt who’s attempting to pass as AMAB and solidify himself as a guy in other people’s mind while simultaneously  separating  himself from his past as much as possible.  Vs.  Toxic masculinity from a trans fem Schlatt who’s trying to force “his”self into becoming a “proper guy”, to feel like “ he”  is “ supposed” to, and to fit into the role  assigned by society.   Vs.  Toxic masculinity from an agender Schlatt who  is willing to go to extremes to “ feel” any sort of connection to gender at all through performing actions “he” thinks are fundamentally related to gender.            And if  Schlatt still doesn’t feel like a proper guy after doing all that, then Schlatt just is trying hard enough.
