Zero teaser: Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan treat fans to Eid feast;5 fun facts

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have over the last few years put their personal grudges aside and awed their fans by coming together at iftaar parties during the holy month of ramzaan. This Eid, they have prepared a better feast for their fans. On Thursday, SRK greeted the world good morning with a teaser of his film Zero. Zero has been directed by Anand L Rai of Tanu Weds Manu fame. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The plot follows Khan as dwarf, who falls in love with a superstar played by Kaif. Sharma portrays the character of a girl with intellectual disability.

Here are 5 interesting points about the Zero movie teaser:

1. The opening shot has Shah Rukh walking into a boisterous audience and a voiceover that recites the famous verse by bollywood lyricist of yesteryear Majrooh Sultanpuri : Main akela hi chala tha janib-e-manzil magar Log saath aate gaye aur karwaan banta gaya

This sher is a perfect depiction of SRK's career. He didn't have any godfather in the industry, while the other two Khans came with filial blessings. Did SRK mean it to be a slight jibe at Salman?

2. Even as SRK seems to be enjoying the adulation on the screen, Salman's entry comes through and he realises that the cheering is for the Khan who has in recent times ruled the roost in the Indian box office. It might be purely co-incidental, but the difference in Salman and SRK's physical stature in the clip is not a bad metaphor for the gulf between their films in the ticket counters. Zero Teaser: Stills From Teaser Featuring SRK And Salman Goes Viral

New Delhi: ShahRukh Khan's upcoming movie Zero which features a cameo from Salman Khan was creating a lot of buzz. The trailer of the duo's was reported to release on Eid. Apparently, the teaser has released in a few theatres in USA and therefore, some American fans saw the look of the two Khans before the rest of us. A still from the teaser is going viral on social media. SRK and Salman Khan are seen dressed in identical leather jackets with red gamchas around their necks, greeting each other with folded hands giving Amitabh Bachchan vibes. Another still from the trailer is circulating on the Internet which depicts a dwarf SRK  hugging Salman. Everyone is praising the teaser and it is trending on internet. The movie is amidst a lot of buzz for the jugalbandi of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan and the Twitter is in awe of  the VFX work done by SRK-owned Red Chillies Entertainment.

Zero's trailer released in January this year. In the movie, SRK is featured as a dwarf. At the beginning of the trailer, SRK dances to his heart out on the popular song Humko Tumpe Pyar Aaya which was originally picturised on superstar Shashi Kapoor in the film Jab Jab Phool Khile. Apart from SRK, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma are also in the movie. Katrina plays the role of an actress battling alcoholism. SRK's character is said to be the admirer of Katrina as the jacket he wore in the song has pictures of her all-over it.
