One would think that a day like this is just like any other, a typical night with everyday people just minding their own business, filling their lives with different chores and activities so that time would fly by faster. And such a person was also Ochako. Taking her usual path to home, the sole of her shoes crunching the dry leafs underneath her before a sudden gush of win slapped her exposed skin, rousing her to wakefulness, an alertness. The breeze was much colder, rougher than usual as the susurration of the leafs became a fierce rustling, loud enough to drown out the chorus of the birds.
In her experience the wind did not arrive all of a sudden. It should build up gradually and it should weave through the tree trunks at least a little. Yet above was such a gale that new green leaves were tumbling down, some still attached to their twig. Every fiber of her being commanded her to run, but she was as rooted to the spot.
Eyes focusing on the person up ahead. Brown hair framed a round-shaped face with expressive eyes bright with hope. A dazed expression dominated her features. Her voice was high and echoed around the street. Her cheekbones sat high on her face and a smile that sent people in awe curved her lips. Yes, her hues did not deceive her. As if a mirror were placed in front of her, there stood none other than her own self.
She knew tensing against the shaking of her limbs was useless but she did it instinctively, trying to suppress for a few more moments what she knew she couldn’t. Needing to drink in the silence to counteract the fear that threatens to engulf her. This kind of thick silence would normally chill her, especially on an inky night devoid of even moonlight or stars, but tonight it works like a salve.
Courage was mustered up, silence torn apart, as a shaky breath slips out of her lips with the following.
“Who…are you? …why do you…look like me?
Confusion digging deep into every pore of her face as her brain tries to wrap around this whole ordeal. Mouth still gaped open ever so slightly, not processing what or rather who stood in front of her.

Shinsou had spent the afternoon hunting for one of the stray cats he fed. He found her, but she was stuck in a tree. Without thinking it through, the teenager climbed up the tree and grabbed her. The stray relaxed in his arms, easily falling asleep. The only problem was he couldn’t climb down with a cat in his arms or risk the cat panicking and falling out of his arms getting hurt. It was too far to drop down as well.
Shinsou had sat on the branch for hours, his back aching and his legs asleep. The sun was low in the sky, and soon it would be dark. He was just about to chance it and climb down with the cat in his arms, when he spotted Uraraka. With her quirk, maybe he could just float down. Yet, the idea of asking for help left a horrible taste in his mouth. He was used to dealing with everything by himself, but as he looked at the innocent animal in his arms, he sighed and spoke up. “Uraraka! Wait, please!” He hated every word that came out of his mouth, but he would rather ask for help than risk hurting the cat.
