At the end of their life, you can't compost them, or put them into the recycling bin. And you can't exactly donate used underwear to a charity, now can you? 🌿🥑🧦 . . Recently, I've been thinking a lot about this. Most of the under garments I own I've had for YEARS. They're all in decent shape too, but I cannot stop thinking about what happens when they're at the end of their life. They're not all made from 100 percent cotton, so I won't be able to compost them. That thought really bothers me. So...I decided to look into sustainable under garment brands. This way, even though I can't do anything about what I've already purchased, I can do something about what I WILL purchase. 🌿🥑🧦 . . That's when I found @pansyco. I'm so impressed with how they run their business - their bras and underwears are made from 100 percent organic cotton grown in California where they're based (and the elastic straps on their bras are made from cotton and natural rubber). You know what that means? They're fully compostable. Eureka! I finally found a brand of under garments I could feel good about wearing. Plus they're so cute - dyed naturally too!
