Zero waste snack tip: when the last of your local honey is crystallized and congealed in the bottom of the jar (why are all honey jars designed so that it’s impossible to scoop out the last of the honey?) don’t throw it out or wash it away! Make honey-tea-lemonade. Brew tea of choice (I used turmeric lemon) and while it’s warm, but not so hot you’ll shatter the jar, pour into honey pot and shake until all honey is dissolved pour back into tea pot, add some gnarly old lemons and clementines, let cool and voila! A refreshing summertime drink.
