*Day 12: Blue!

*This is Thwaite and Kasumi, a Thwimp and a Bubble Baby Yoshi! They become friends after being kidnapped under mysterious circumstances. Thwaite is the son of a Thwomp and Whomp who have a traveling mini-game party caravan, so he’s very competitive about games. Kasumi is a very laidback no thoughts, head empty child who loves to sing.

*Day 2 of OCtober is my latest Sparklestar Galaxy OC, Tycho! I made her yesterday lmao because the last character I made before her was a very minor character that I didn’t feel like drawing.

*Tycho is a Yellow Luma! She helps around the Comet Observatory as a babysitter to the other Lumas. She’s the fun older sister. Her best friend is @juliettelime‘s Orange Luma, Nexus, because they’re the two young adults lmao.

*This OCtober is going to be all characters from Sparklestar Galaxy, my Mario Gijinka project with my sister @juliettelime 💕

*My first Mario gijinka OC is Dea T., who I made in 2006! He’s loosely based off of the nervous Toad Guard from Paper Mario who I didn’t realize had a name when I made him. His two main traits when I made him were 1) Very Nervous and 2) Always Has Bedhead.

*I made him because I wanted him to be friends with Fawful, who I projected onto as a teen/young adult. In my updated story, Dea T. starts off the same but later develops two more main traits: 1) Depression and 2) Angst (and also gains a cool scar.)

*Day 8: Red!

*This is Spark, a Red Luma aboard the Starship Mario. He’s the little brother of the Luma crew 🥺 He wants attention, and he wants to go on an adventure to prove that he’s capable, or something like that.

*He meets a lost Bob-omb Buddy and cheers her up.

*Day 5: Rivals!

*This is Wit T. and Toadsworth III aka TWIII (tee dubs the third.) They’re the red and blue toads who are Princess Peach’s attendants. They grew up in the castle together with five other Toads that are about the same age. Wit T. is much more laidback than TWIII, who takes their rivalry very seriously, because Wit T. is the one who gets invited to all the Mario sports tournaments and Mario Parties. They’re very popular in Toad Town.

*TWIII is, of course, the one who gets kidnapped.

*2/12 is the birthday of my very first oc, chester! he’s very rude and sarcastic but he is my Son, my terrible rat boy son

*i can’t believe he shares a birthday with the na release of smb3. he would probably enjoy that bit of trivia

*other trivia: i used to write him as a hero, but in the beginning of my story that i’m writing now, he’s actually an antagonist. i created him when i was 12, based on 2d from the gorillaz. his name used to be chase, but i changed it to chester because i really love linkin park.

*i had one singular dream with him in it, and i was him, and i thought to myself “so this is how the world looks when you’re very tall.”

*pictured above: 1) doodle from 2010 where he’s spitting out tea after being accused of being terrible, 2) the last time i drew him digitally was in 2017, 3) i commissioned my sis @juliettelime , 4) a sketch i drew last year. i colored it with a mouse yesterday, 5+6) picrew!!, 7) a doodle from 2013 that i found last month. “good luck! i ain’t running” is just who he is as a person
