okay i posted this before but i dont think i tagged it but what if a merfolk au where souda is a shark and leon is a remora and they meet one day and are just friends at first u kno like souda helps leon get food and leon keeps other fish and shit away from souda u kno like a normal remora and shark relationship but then they fall for eachother and become perfect little mermen boyfriends :D

Wikipedia says that remoras relationships with their hosts is phoresy which is “one animal attached to another exclusively for transport”

Imagine Leon leaving when he gets where he needs to go but then ends up finding his way back to Souda really quickly. The first time it’s coincidental but then Souda makes sure to stay in the area and Leon looks out to catch him. It gets to the point where everyone else is surprised to see one without the other (if they comment on it Leon gets a little embarrassed but grins and Souda tries to deny it “It’s not like we’re ALWAYS tagether!!!”)

It was bound to happen eventually. All of the constant butting heads, the yelling, the fighting...The lack of communication had finally taken its toll. Ever since the man of the Hohaku household tragically met an early end at the hands of a drunk driver, the family had been in ruins. Even after his grandfather had decided to move in with the family, it just wasn't the same. The eldest, and only, daughter of the family had never been close to her mother, but since her father's death, her mother and herself had been on anything but common ground. But this had been the last straw. Akira was storming out of her house, clothing packed, work materials in hand, and Bruce by her side. "THAT'S IT!" She sounded broken. Defeated, almost. "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" She screamed, marching out of her 'home', slamming the door, and practically running to her truck, dumping her things in and getting in, slamming the door once her feline companion had joined her. She never wanted to go back home. She didn't even want to think about her family. She drove town the streets of her small village, not knowing where to go. Eventually, she convinced herself to stop, just for a little while, and text someone. She knew that holding all of these emotions indie for this long was what caused this major fight to break out, and, honestly, she needed to vent. The first person who came to mind was Leon. Opening up her texting app, she shot him a quick text. [Text: Leon 😘]: hey... U got a sec?
