DA Origins Replay
I am replaying DA Origins and I am surprised at how different the feel of the game is compare to 2&3. Right from the beginning it starts of like some epic tale with Duncan's expo of "at the dawn of time....." and it gives you a short intro to introduce your place in the world before becoming a Warden. Also it is because of tumblr that I am going to romance zevran this time around. He is going to become a one Warden kind of man.
Number 9, Zevran/Warden?
[prompt from this post, still open!]“9. bauble”
It burned a hole in his pocket, such alittle thing.
He’d caught himself idly running hisfingers over it more and more of late, often while sitting beside thefire in the center of their camp or walking behind her as they movedfrom town to town. It would be nothing to leave it amongst her thingsfor her to discover, a flash of gold and pearled blue bright againstthe dingy brown and brass of her leathers. Yet for all it wouldrelieve him of it, Zevran couldn’t bring himself to part with it anyway other than putting it in her palm himself, seeing the glow of italong his Warden’s skin.
They were resting now, taking a momentto refill water stores on the way to Denerim. He could easily slipinto the trees, follow her to the river, and when they were alone, give her both the earring and the admission that he was on theknife’s edge of falling properly in love.
He watched from a distance, thumbingthe gem. Cadhla. No, usingher name felt too formal, not nearly as warm and intimate as hisWarden. Her long brownplait hung over one shoulder as she bent to refill her skein, thesunlight reflecting off of the water’s surface and tracing patternsonto her face.
Itwasn’t more than a moment before the other Warden joined her, makinga joke that was undoubtedly awful but earned him a laugh all thesame. Zevran silently cursed Alistair’s lack of finesse with a sigh, pulling his hand from his pocket and turning back to the road.
Camp.He would give it to her when next they made camp, no matter theinterruptions.
