I like that outlook. It's fun to think that Ryder would think poorly or indifferently to Shep bc they never met! It's hard to play MEA without thinking about nostalgia for our Sheps.

Though my initial point was that my Shepard, Luna, doesn’t think she should be worshiped. Especially not by kids / people younger than her and of an age at which they could choose to join the Alliance.

I know this isn’t the case for most Shepards, but Luna specifically is a War Hero (and a Spacer, at that) who started having her reservations about the Alliance as soon as she was given the Star of Terra after the Skyllian Blitz. Reservations turned into animosity as the events of ME2 unfolded, and that reached its peak in ME3 (and post-war). By the time the Reaper War is through, animosity has turned to disgust and something akin to hate. The thought of staying with the Alliance makes her sick. But she doesn’t know anything _different,_ because her whole life was in the Alliance. She was a navy brat, after all.

The Skyllian Blitz specifically is a sore point for her. She’s not proud of what happened down there. Or, rather, she’s not proud of how the Alliance used the incident, carefully manicured and heavily edited, to elevate her to a hero so it would make them look good. She thinks the Star of Terra ceremony was a farce, despite the fact that she did save a lot of people that day.

So... being idolized and looked up to makes her uncomfortable, especially after ME1 (she still lived and breathed Alliance Blue back then).

Make-up or natural: I’d say both as well! I love the quiet days when I can wear no makeup, but I also like putting some on. But I don’t know what I’m doing so it’s pretty minimal (though I’d love to learn more).

Met a celebrity: I probably have but no one particularly exciting that I can remember. Oh wait I’ve met George Stroumboulopoulos! (A Canadian TV host.)

Smiles or eyes: Smile I guess but I like both?

Sense of humour: Yeah I’d say this is essential. Wait how is this a question?

Favourite things to do: Yeesh I like a lot of things. I love hanging with one or two of my closest friends and enjoying good food and drinks and watching something on TV but chatting over it. That’s always a treat! I also love when I get in a really good writing mood and get lost in my own world with my writing.

Last song you listened to: “Dance of the Druids” from the Outlander soundtrack.

1. What was the last movie you saw? I can’t even remember. :/

2. What was the last song you listened to?
 Probably “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon in the car yesterday. Unless the theme song to “Full House” counts.

3. What was the last show you watched? I’m not ashamed to say I’ve been binge-watching “Full House” for the last few days.

4. What was the last book or fic you read? I haven’t been reading much lately but I’m currently (still) making my way through “The Sunne in Splendour” by Sharon Kay Penman, “The White Queen” by Philippa Gregory, and “The Founding” by Cyntha Harrod-Eagles.

5. What was the last thing you ate?
 Hashbrowns. Mmmm.

6. If you could be anywhere else right now, where would you be? I like being at home. :P But I’d love to be in England, too.

7. If you could pick a decade to travel back to in time, what would it be? Ohhh so many favourites. Of course, it depends if I could also travel back to 2016 after a short visit, but assuming so, I’d love to visit the late medieval period! Or the late 18th/early 19th century. 

8. If you won the lotto & millions in cash, what would be the first thing you would do? Pay off student loans, pay off my parents’ mortgage, buy a house and live in the basement as I rent the rest of it out, and live off the interest of my winnings. 

9. Which fictional character would you like to hang out with for a day?  I’ve definitely answered Archie Hopper already, so maybe I will say... Mr. Bingley. Ohmygoodness can you imagine introducing an adorably confused Mr. Bingley to the 21st century? He’d be fascinated by everything but also so excited. XD

10. What was the last fandom you joined? I don’t think this answer has changed :P Probably still OUAT since I’m not really active in the others... (Otherwise it would be Vikings).

Dearest Avalon, @zevrantiva Not only has it been a pleasure to learn and admire the work that you’re created on tumblr as well as on tda, but it has been the most amazing experience to become friends with such a talented and inspirational person. 15. Talk about the time you were most content in life.

if i’m being honest its been a while since i’ve really felt fully content in life, just because of all the stress and worries that come from being in college and worrying about the future, but lately i find myself feeling content when i’m with my boyfriend, sitting with family, or doing something that i enjoy rather than worrying about what’s to come

32. Talk about a place you remember from your childhood.

disney world for sure. i was brought up at the disney parks and i still have an annual pass and try to go as often as i can. i have such wonderful memories of going as a kid and remembering the carefree days and such
