FAMILY AFFAIRS / YASAK ELMA - WHEN ALIHAN AND ZEYNEP ARE WITH THE OTHERS

You know, this drama tells two different story at the same time. Because there are two sisters who have different personalities yet love each other very deeply. Alihan and Zeynep are the romance part of the drama and Yıldız&Halit&Ender are forbidden fruit part of it. Their lifes sometimes engage, but mostly we watch them seperately. But in this episode they run into each other very frequently, also realize how different the other side's life styles.

But who would have thought those four would be very entertaining to watch?

First, Alihan and Zeynep get caught by her sister and her-brother-in-law (also Alihan's ex-brother-in-law). We all know Alihan doesn't give a damn about what Halit thinks, because as he said, this is his personal life. But we can't say the same goes for Zeynep. She cares about what people may think about her and Alihan. Since Alihan is also aware of Zeynep's sensitiveness about this, he offers a suggestion to make her feel better. Which is that the four of them should have a dinner together to explain everything so that there will be no misunderstanding. 

Actually he is eager to tell Halit that Zeynep and he used to date but Zeynep stongly objects to that idea and says, she pretends nothing happened between him and her, so practically they won't be lying. 

Ouch. It must hurt.

Family Dinner Time

We know this dinner is actually an excuse for him to see Zeynep more. Can you believe that this guy is even ready to meet Halit whom he isn't very fond of to just spend more time with Zeynep? Anyway... 

The dinner gets off to a bad start cause Yıldız and Halit fought before coming there and Yıldız is still not on speaking terms with her husband.

Well this is awkward. But of course Alihan needs to make everything more awkward because he likes to seize all opportunities to tease Zeynep. Well, why not, he is like 5 years old all the time.

Man, don't beat around the bush. You even have proposal rings, just tell everything to her and get married already. (If he had proposed her back then, he would soon-to-be dad by now since their sexual tension is undeniable.)

Whatever.

Seeing he isn't helpful at all, Zeynep takes up the reins and starts telling what happened that night. Basically she says he just helped her because she was so drunk etc etc.

Look at his face. He is like "hon, you're very bad at lying. They will never believe you." *lol*

Indeed, they don't. Lol. In fact when she and Alihan start bickering -again- Halit becomes more and more convinced there is something going on between them.

When the dinner is over Alihan has one more opportunity to be with Zeynep. 

Zeynep: I'll take a taxi. Yıldız: No, it won't do! Alihan: I can give you a ride home.

Yıldız: Good then, Alihan will give you a ride. Alihan: *a little smile on his lips* -yaay my future sister-in-law still approves me-

Lol. But as soon as Yıldız and Halit leave, Zeynep turns down his offer and takes a taxi. 

Hmmm... Don’t push your luck, mister.

At the party

His stares are so intense that he can physically bore a hole on her face. *sigh*

And Halit sees him too.

Halit: It attracts notice. Alihan: What? Halit: Your gazes at Zeynep.

He gives himself away about Zeynep and everyone becomes aware of it. Before, he was more controlled, but he is desperate now and doesn't even try to remain composed.

Well, talking about getting caught by your-in-law, now it's your turn Mr. Halit. But if you're already married when you are seen with someone else, you may be in trouble.

Uh-oh.

How can you tell something like this to your dear sister?

Alihan may have a very low EQ, but he always senses even minor mood changes in Zeynep. Look at him. As soon as he sees her, he knows something's wrong with her. And when their eyes instantly meet, she knows too that she is still like an open book to him.

That’s why she tries to walk away but Alihan stops her. Then Yıldız comes to her side.

Not knowing if she must tell Yıldız that she saw Halit with another woman, she looks more and more uncomfortable. Unintentionally she throws a look at the door that she closed just a while ago. Alihan follows her stares and becomes sure that something must have happened.

By the way Yıldız also notices that Zeynep doesn’t look good so asks if she is okay. In the end Zeynep makes up an excuse, says she is tired, unaccustomed to such parties and wants to leave.

Alihan: I can give you a ride. Zeynep: No need.

Despite still trying to understand what's off with her sister, Yıldız doesn't miss Alihan's caring attitude towards her sister.

Once a fangirl, always a fangirl.

Lol. He is lucky to have Yıldız’s approval. But if he doesn’t give more effort to his relationship with Zeynep, he will lose that too.

You know, everything is getting complicated for them but despite everything I am still rooting for these two. Their chemistry, the way he looks at her, how she becomes hopeful and happy when she thinks about giving him a second chance... everything gives me life. Even their angsty scenes are worth to watch since the emotions are so strong.

But still I wouldn’t say no, if we could watch more fluffy scenes of them. Hopefully their potential won’t go waste like Yağız and Hazan.

Favorite Zeynep & Alihan Scenes - Episode 15

Alihan: You are smiling from ear to ear again. Zeynep: You are always doing this! After being a romantic for a while, you get back to your annoying old self. Alihan: You are the same as me. In an instant, that sweet girl disappears and a witch with a broom comes out. Zeynep: Earlier you said you were willing to wait for that witch. Alihan: I would wait for that witch a lifetime.

Alihan‘s hands are massive against Zeynep’s - you know what they say about big hands haha! And Zeynep is such a cinnamon roll, she looks like you could pick her up and put her in your pocket lol.

Yes, he is giant and she is tiny little bean. ^_^ When they hug, she fits perfectly in his arms. *.*

The lyrics of the song that played in this scene are very meaningful. It was chosen to tell what Alihan feels from his perspective. Because it is basically a plea from a man to his lover that already forgot about him.

It seems like you have forgotten me. I am still crazy, still in love. I couldn't extinguish the fire you started. You are still crazy, still troubled. I am willing to cater to your whims. If you want, chain my hands. Please my darling, understand my state. I am still crazy, still in love.

*Btw look at the size difference of their hands. Whenever he takes her hands in his, they look so cute. ^_^
