Prompt: 125. “(Name)?” - “Yeah?” - “I’m gonna kiss you now.” - “Okay.” (Sui Zhou to Tang Fan, maybe interrupting a rambling confession of love where TF tries to lay out the logical reasons why they should be together and SZ just cuts to the chase & they make out until Dong'er gets home with ingredients for dinner?)
That is a fantastic situation and I love it. Just what I needed to consider today <3 Hopefully this is along the right lines...

Tang Fan wouldn’t stop talking.
He had walked into Sui Zhou’s room and dropped a book on the table and just started talking without taking a breath. Sui Zhou had glanced up from rubbing a scuff mark from his badge of office, ready to listen to whatever case Tang Fan might need help with and was struck by the actual subject matter coming from the man’s lips.
“Logically, if you think about it, you already provide for me, feed me, and help me when I am in trouble so really all that is missing is the ceremony and to put a name to it. Dong’er likes you and is happy living here. It is convenient, close to the magistrate’s office and to all the good restaurants in the city. And you are very handsome so it isn’t like I would be settling for something less than I deserve.”
Sui Zhou blinked and rested his elbows on the table. “Excuse me?” He ignored the strange twist in his stomach, the pounding of his heart at the declaration of him being handsome.
“I have decided - we are a family, and that should also include us being together, not just... together.” Tang Fan stood with his hands behind his back, eyes looking resolutely ahead.
“I... what?”
Tang Fan swallowed, the movement visible even from across the room. “I want to be in a physical relationship with you and I think it would be beneficial both to me, to Dong’er, and to you. I could help when you have nightmares, look after you if you get ill, and help with any problems you might have in the future. It would be a good arrangement and I think you are attracted to me too since you keep letting me interrupt your baths -”
“Runqing,” he interrupted, a smile on his face as he watched the colour rise on Tang Fan’s cheeks.
“Yeah?”
He stood up and rounded the table. Each step was light, the smile on his face growing wider as he got closer. Tang Fan took a deep breath and his hands fell by his sides. Sui Zhou stopped just in front of him and took one of his hands. “I’m going to kiss you now.”
Tang Fan let out a breathless “okay” before he practically threw himself into Sui Zhou’s arms.
Their lips met in a clash, a small and pained “oof” coming from Sui Zhou even as Tang Fan pulled back to apologise. He didn’t get the words out as Sui Zhou pulled him back in, pressing their lips together gently. The kiss sent a shiver of warmth through him, made his fingers tighten their grip on Tang Fan’s hips.
Tang Fan melted against his chest, arms lifted up to drape over his shoulders. They kissed, and kissed, and kissed, bodies warm where they were pressed together, a gentle heat simmering between them. The sensation of Tang Fan’s lips parting on breathless gasps, the shuddering little moans that fell from him, all settled hotly in Sui Zhou’s stomach.
In his mind, or at least the parts not filled with Tang Fan in his arms, he knew that Dong’er would be back soon. He knew they would need to part, to get dinner ready, to sit at the table and eat like the family they were becoming.
He peppered kisses down Tang Fan’s neck, tasted the elegant length of it and felt the shiver that went through the man. Arms tightened around his shoulders and he wondered if he would be able to let go at all.
