smacks his abs
Xinyan would get exactly what she demands the instant her impulsive charge follows thought. Their battle through the hordes had been a voracious spectacle, bone and flesh being rend, technological might of an archaically advanced age torn asunder. Their flames were the purity that aimed to show the present’s makings would never fail in delivering absolution to the past. Proof of that hard gained effort would be in the feedback the second those calloused fingers and palm made contact.
It’d be a firm thunk that signifies she found herself colliding with nothing but muscle. It’s an action that jolts the blonde to attention, eyes briefly gaining realization, only to see the recipient being one of his wildest partners yet, someone who managed to blaze a vigil revolution through the roar of that distinctly shaped blade or the way she harmonized her melody from the soul to physical plane itself. He’d savor that mild string before taking action of his own merit.
She’d come to fine one of those scarlet clothed arms settled along her shoulders, a mirthful gaze staring her down, only for that disposition to reveal it’s playful ichor while those lips fixate into a smirk. “Thought it was an illusion that met your eyes, Xinyan? Or was it a curious thought to always test the strength you see personally?” Playful questions, many meanings, a low chuckle follows while he leans down, ensuring they were near cheek to cheek in terms of proximity before speaking up once again.
”Just remember that everything holds their share in terms of a price. Getting a first hand account of how often to swing that behemoth of a blade singlehandedly, I’d like to to gain a first hand account of your hard work myself one of these days.” That said, the disheveled bottom of his dark shirt remains as such, subjected to the faith of having sweat being the stubborn substance to keep it clung. Honestly they were both a pair of sweaty messes, yet, the lively nature of their ‘freestyle’ spectacles left a hum of satisfaction burning bright.
She was about to be a hell of an interesting lady to get to knowing better.
@zhuqued confirmed that those abs are indeed not a prank.
" I do ask that you keep it down over there. ” Seldom did he MIND her presence, however, he was attempting to read the novel he’d procured earlier that day. It was the second in a series Xingqiu had recently started, attention effectively ensnared by the riveting world of fantasy & fiction that the book provided. @zhuqued : // 🌊
‘ that was quite the performance--pity the guard didn’t let you finish. ‘

@zhuqued has clicked ( 💬 Huffman )
When you’re in the knights, networking was just a classier term for gossip. And the latest one was that some guests from Liyue were coming to share their music with Mondstadt.
Looking at their guests, Huffman quirked a brow at their attire before dismissing his thoughts. He was here to help and welcome them into Mondstadt, no matter who they were. With a smile and the Mondstadt salute, the knight smiled.
“Welcome to Mondstadt, honorary guest. Your journey must have been long, might I offer my assistance in showing you to an inn to relax or a place to eat?”
E : EMBRACE. does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like? / valentine’s day alphabet — character development questions .
keqing is pretty touch-starved, but because of how busy she often is — as well as how detached she is from her feelings toward individual people — it’s not really something she’s able to distinctly acknowledge, let alone act on.
for the most part, she’s fine with hugs just as long as she’s comfortable enough with the person she’s hugging.
keqing is usually the one to initiate hugs, partly because ... well, she doesn’t have the most approachable demeanor in the world and then, partly because her initiative follows her everywhere she goes. her hugs are pretty intimate, actually since, again, she doesn’t allow too many people to be physical with her; they are often drawn-out and pretty sturdy, too, considering her height. speaking of ‘height’, because keqing’s a whopping 5′2″, she may also feel inclined to rest her chin on the other person’s shoulder or lay her head in the crook of their neck.
@zhuqued .
“So, tell me—” Leaning back in her chair, Keqing allows herself a small sip of her tea. A satisfied sigh goads her lips as she sets her teacup down. “—What is it that inspires you to pursue your ambitions despite the controversy it stirs up?”

❝ that was a pretty good fight, huh? ❞
“Dude, totally! It’s kinda nice to spar with another claymore-wielder, for once.”
As much as his deputy was great to train with and was one of the few people who could match evenly against someone like that Kujou Tengu (who’d given him a walloping he still needed to repay!), something about the heavy clangor of two claymores parrying and damaging the shit out of each other seemed far more satisfying. On top of it, Xinyan was a talented swordswoman who could hold her own against him and his unorthodox one-handed way of wielding a claymore. It was far more rewarding, even if he couldn’t exactly bust up the ground or start hurling boulders and trees that was the other half of his melee technique. Still, it was definitely more than enough.
“Hopefully your arms won’t be too sore! Cuz if they are, well--drinks on me~!”
