Some views of my home city during Pre-Service Training, PST. I am currently a Peace Corps Trainee, during the first 11 weeks I am here we are trained and assessed on our learning, acclimation, attitude, language skills and so forth. Once these assessments are passed only then can I be sworn in as a volunteer. At that time I will move to my Site, the place I will live and work for the next two years. But in the meantime it is my job to soak up as much as possible about the country, this community and my host family in order to be prepared for service. I'll be training 6 days a week for the next 10.
