Progress Update

Hello y'all. I ain't dead ;)

I know you've been wondering where I have been and the truth is that I've fr been really busy with life. (Getting hit from all sides with projects, assignments and to add a cherry on top: physical and labourous work because we live in a capitalist world). So I think you can already guess that progress has been very slow.

I'm still outlining the new chapters and I've taking note of all the new little ideas I think would be very neat! The outlines for the first few chapters have come along very nicely and I'm actually quite happy with them so I'm very excited to start writing it. However, I have vowed that I wouldn't start writing until I've at least outlined a good chunk of the story.

Tldr: slow progress due to real life obstacles, but we're getting there. Outlines for the first few chapters have been complete and we're still going.

Hello!! Y'all must be wondering what I am up to and what I've been doing so far :) All you need to know is that I am still working tirelessly on this IF, albeit at a much slower pace due to being flooded with college assignments and projects. I've made some good progress in building the new world of TNA! A great deal of things have changed and I truly hope that you all will come to love the remake as I have.

I've been working on a new ui for the game and with a completely new archive and profile for MC and the ROs. I've been in a bit of a writers block lately I've been focusing on expanding the world building to keep my mind buzzing.

As a show of good faith and an apology for being so quiet on tumblr, here's a little sneak peak of the archive and the new world of TNA!

I think it's time that I did one of these...

I feel bad that I've left y'all in the dark for this long 😭 but as you know (hopefully), I've been very busy the past few months and dare I even say, years in regards to my personal life, thus leaving me with not as much time as I have liked to work on TNA.

But what I can tell you is that in the rare case where I did finally have the energy to open my laptop to work on this IF, I have been diligently reworking many aspects of the story! And when I say that a lot of things have changed, I mean a lot of things have changed. Meaning that the things you've learned in the old version will not ring true in the new one. So keep that in mind.

But let me give you a run down on what I've done so far.

The backstory of certain characters have changed, including the MC, whose backstory changed the most. I won't spoil anything just yet but you'll see ;)

Some characters have a slightly different personality but their goals and ambitions remain relatively the same.

I've introduced new characters and mechanisms into the plan(ish).

The story has been split into 3 parts so it's easier for me to know what I want to happen in them iykwim.

I loosely outlined what I want to happen in each part and now all I have to do is write a detailed outline for each chapter on how to make it happen (plus write and code them).

I know it ain't much, but it's honest work :) and what I can tell you about the story that hasn't changed, is the ending and certain events. I've always had a certain ending that I wanted TNA to end on (for both books) and I've been slowly but surely making my way towards creating an environment that leads to that ending. (Maybe a little bit slower than slow but oh well).

As for the little something that I wanted to share with you, it's the new intro post that I have prepared for Ver 2.0! I wanted to post it once I've had a majority of chapters 1 & 2 outlined but I'm a bit too excited to show you guys what I have for it. So I'll let you decide what I should do.
