The Guardian Building in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, USA

Originally called the Union Trust Building. It has 40 floors and serves as county headquarters.

Opened in March 1929.

Dominguez-Wilshire Building, Los Angeles, California Source: California State Library

Located at 5410 WIlshire Boulevard, the Dominguez-Wilshire Building was built in 1930. Architects Morgan, Walls and Clements design it as an eight-story Zig Zag Art Deco Moderne tower on a two-story base. Myer Siegel and Company occupied the first floor. C. H. Baker Shoes was another tenant.

Artist's rendering of the Wilshire Professional Building, listing the companies involved in its construction. Designed by Arthur E. Harvey and opened in 1929, the building is located at 3875 Wilshire Boulevard.

The thirteen-story Wilshire Professional Building at the corner of Wilshire and St. Andrews is a good example of 1920s Art Deco architecture that brought attention to the boulevard.

Its Zigzag Moderne tower steps back, affording good views and ensuring that even if another tall building was built next door, sunlight, breezes, and views would not be too hindered.

While the building was intended mainly for doctors and dentists, it also housed the office of its architect, Arthur E. Harvey.
