☛Zig Novak is the only son of a convenience store owner, his father has never been in his life, and walked out on his mom when she found that she was pregnant with Zig. It was always Zig and his mom, and starting when he was 13, he started working for his mom at the convenience store just to make enough to survive. When Zig was in middle school was in the worst happened at his mothers convenience store went under and they lost everything, their house, their jobs, ad they had no one but eachother and they were on the streets. Zig was playing music on the street trying to get any money just to make ends meet. One day a man came by, and offered him a full scholarship at Degrassi Boarding School. Zig tried to turn down the opportunity by the man also agreed to pay for a place for his mother to live, Zig knew that they couldn’t turn down this opportunity.

☛ As Zig got to Degrassi Boarding School he quickly learned that he did not fit in well with these people. They flaunted their money like it grew on trees all the designer clothes, and their biggest concern seemed to be when the next party was none of these teenager faced the same kind of life trauma like Zig did. It wasn’t easy for Zig to make friends, he was a kid from the wrong side of the tracks and it seemed like these Degrassi students could sniff out the scholarship kids and kept their distance. There were two Degrassi students who he developed a quick bond with and that was KC Guthrie and Tiny Bell. The three of them together were unstoppable

✉ Zig became very close with Maya, and knowing that she had a boyfriend he knew he should of kept his distance but he couldn’t stop himself he believed that he fell in love with her at first sight.

✉To be able to stay at degrassi Zig needs to keep a certain gpa, last year he was failing his biology class, and he hacked into the school computer system and changed his grade.

Most rivalries between two men in high school comes down to one girl, and this girl was Maya. Well that was how it started, it started with Maya but these two genuinely do not like one another. ♥ Zoe Rivas && ex-girlfriend ♡ &&. Before Zoe came out, she had a relationship with Zig. Zoe was the first person that Zig met at Degrassi, and she seemed to care about him in her own Zoe way. After everything that happened to Zoe, Zig will always protect her and he promised her that.
