Zig-Zag Alphabet Headcanons-- Shove It
Headcanons for Ricky in my book Shove it (go read it on Wattpad)
A-- Authority: This dude doesn't really care. He'll listen to authority figures, but definitely mock them behind closed doors.
B-- Brains: He's not that great with English and Science, but put this man in a math class, and he'll win.
C-- Charisma: Ricky's a flirt, and a horrible one. All day, every day. Nobody is off limits. He likes the reaction it gets him.
D-- Dirty Habit: He's almost comically bad at showering. One bar of soap is more than enough. His hygiene is... questionable.
E-- Eating: He's not picky. If there's food in front of him, he'll eat it.
F-- Feelings: He won't ever talk about it, but Ricky feels a lot. He definitely misses his family, even if it makes him angry to think about.
G-- Grudges: Nobody can convince me that he isn't the pettiest person at Green Lake. He will hold a grudge until the day he dies.
H-- Humor: Ricky has a very dirty sense of humor. Your-mom jokes are also frequent fliers.
I-- Intimacy: He'll deny it, but Ricky is a very touch-oriented person. And if someone's hands end up in his hair? Complete putty.
J-- Justification: If Ricky doesn't like something, that's justification enough for whatever he plans on doing. He takes justice into his own hands, and it doesn't earn him much credit.
K-- Kindness: From time to time, he'll do something kind. He'll snag an extra snack for a pal, or lighten the mood on a particularly somber day with his oh-so betrothed jokes.
L-- Leadership: He's not a great leader. He can carry a conversation, but he's no troop leader. Most of his clan would leave because of his lackluster leadership skills.
M-- Music: Ricky definitely likes country, but not because he's a Texan. He likes both ballads and party music. You'll catch him pondering to 'I Fall to Pieces' one minute and (trying) to dance to 'Good Time' the next.
N-- Nighttime: It doesn't take much for Ricky to fall asleep, but he'll snore louder than a lawnmower. Man's tired.
O-- Observations: He sees a lot more than most people think, he just doesn't care to comment. He's pretty good at reading people.
P-- Playfulness: If he's not too tired, he'll mess with anybody. Whether it's his flirting or being a general grievance, he gets a kick out of it.
Q-- Quirks: He definitely would bite his nails as a kid. Now, he's always tugging at that mop he calls hair. He's not sure when he made the switch, but he's not certain that he could stop.
R-- Relaxation: He's definitely the type of guy to put on a show and close his eyes. If someone tries to change it, he suddenly snaps to attention. Any combination of entertainment and peace works for him.
S-- Skills: Ricky's not so great in the kitchen, but on the grill? He makes a damn good burger and an even better brisket.
T-- Trust: He's not very quick to trust most people. That's just who he is. He's faster with some, but an instant connection is rare for him.
U-- Upbringing: Ricky doesn't come from the happiest home. He spent a lot of time outdoors by himself. He and his dad might have gone fishing at some point in his youth, but once he hit his early teens, dad stopped making an effort.
V-- Veracity: Ricky will bend the truth so far it can barely be considered fact anymore. He'd be one hell of a corrupted lawyer.
W-- Wisdom: He's not that smart. He's got math skills, but he's not very bright.
X-- X-Ray: He respects X-Ray, but not as much as the other boys do. He finds him to be fairly righteous and outright pompous at times, but at the end of the day, you gotta respect the hustle.
Z-- Zeal: Ricky knows more about astronomy than you'd think. He's definitely spent one-too-many sleepless nights looking up at the sky and finding something neat up there to research.
