You know that "why can't Feferi be buff" post? Well, my headcanon is that tyrianbloods end up about 12ft tall when fully grown, but yellowbloods are a little less than 6ft on average. Feferi would be twice Sollux's height. Add in the whole "drags whales around" thing and yeah.

Name: Aquila Bolivi

Name meaning: Aquila is the Latin for eagle, and of course the eagle is a symbol of liberty. Bolivi is from Simon Bolivar, who lead many Latin American nations to freedom from Spanish rule.

RO: Oh hey! That’s a nice name! I haven’t seen any names based on real people names so that’s new!

Blood: Dark red (#8C0808). I originally made her a greenblood, because that’s what I always seem to get on blood colour tests, but then I realized that red is the colour of revolution so it works a lot, lot better for her.

Lusus: A gryphon - part eagle, part lion. As I said before, the eagle is the symbol of liberty, but a plain eagle seemed really dull.

Symbol: A symbolic representation of the Tree of Liberty - a symbol of both the French and American revolutions. The ToL is said to be a sapling which must be nurtured in order to grow, just like Aquila. In addition, the original inspiration for the ToL was a yew tree, and Aquila’s symbol looks like a Y.

RO: That’s some good reasoning for the symbol

Age: 8 sweeps, which is the closest age to my own age. This means that Aquila is already more than halfway through her lifespan!

RO: Let us never speak of the hemospectrum lifespan again because every time someone brings it up a kitten cries and so does RO.

Strife Specibus: Penkind/Swordkind. The pen is mightier than the sword, but Aquila does realize that a sword is better at hacking limbs off. So, she has a pen which turns into a sword.

RO: The almighty pensword. The question is, is the pen better quality than the sword still, or is it in at a fragile balance of pen/sword strength, or is it defying reality by being a better sword than a pen and i am no doubt overthinking this.

Fetch Modus: Debate Modus. Aquila has to argue with her modus as to why she needs the item.

AA: omg thats a cool as hell modus. wait but hell isnt cool. hell is really hot. that’s a cool as antarctica modus.

RO: It is a very cool modus but not well suited for crowded public areas. (“pssst have you heard of the crazy rustblood who argues with herself?”) Also you are overcomplicating things AA. But we are getting off topic.

Personality: Aquila is a shut-in and a recluse. She’s not shy, exactly, it’s just that she’s not a fan of talking too much. She spends most of her time daydreaming about becoming a famous revolutionary who liberates Alternia and brings democracy to the Empire, but she also knows that that’s never going to happen. Though she doesn’t talk much with people face-to-face, Aquila is a total chatterbox online and spends a great deal of her time on political debate forums and news websites, where she’s infamous for NEVER. SHUTTING. UP. She’s also a huge fan of musicals - the more dramatic the numbers, the better! Actually, she just likes loud music in general. Her neighbours are always yelling at her to SHUT UP.

Hive: Aquila has a top-floor apartment in a communal hivestem. She needs to live at the top because of her airborne lusus. Her hive is very small and cluttered because she never gets around to tidying it up.

Title: Page of Light. Pages grow into their Aspect and then grant it to others. Light is the aspect of fortune, knowledge and significance. Initially, nothing will go right for Aquila. Getting to god tier would involve her finding her courage and her resolve. At god tier, she’s the perfect leader - filled with knowledge and importance, fighting centre-stage and overloading her team with so much fortune and wisdom that they can’t lose. (This may be a slight exagerration, but it gets the point across). This works because Aquila is always dreaming of being somebody important, and SGRUB would give her that chance!

Ancestor: The Democrat, who attempted to bring about a democratic revolution on Alternia. She failed, and was executed for treason. Her name and her revolt were struck from all records. (Cambia Bolivi, Knight of Light)
