Off topic both Hordak and Zim give me similar vibes in their missions, neither are well liked by their bosses being seen as defective, and worse pretty much sent on a goose chase hoping they are dead, heck both forgot about their lower lackeies and fine with killing them straight up.

A short letter to the Invader Zim fandom, more specifically those who frequent tumblr.

I just want to say... That all of you are... Awesome. Just awesome. If I could be stranded on a desert island with any of you I probably would actually enjoy it until I died of food shortage, but I digress. You're like Dib, usually cool and calm, but occasionally strong and stubborn, even loud and proud about what you really believe in. Mostly mature about things with a fascination for the unknown and a curiosity for things unventured, but still occasionally have your moments where you show your real age, and just enjoy acting like a kid. You're like the Tallests, occasionally immature but still strong leaders to each other nonetheless, even when the going seems rough and certain aspects of the fandom put us all in a bad light. You're like Tak, strong, determined, and occasionally vengeful upon the annoying fans who don't know the meaning of the words 'shut up'. You're like Gir, often funny but annoying at the same time, and with moments of ordered certainty and lightning quick clarity. Occasionally controversial. You're like Zim, with his random outbursts but with a deeper meaning behind them and determination to succeed-not to mention his selective 'I believe what I think is right'. Even like Gaz, with her icy demeanor but studious attitude to life, and violence as an answer for many fanart-ed problems You, the fandom, can be like them all. And I love you- all of you- for it. I would consider you family except none of you actually know me. I'll settle for a small spark of warmth in my little cool heart whenever I see you all having so much fun out there. ~Shadow out.

I saw a post said that 'the Zim fandom is like Zim himself- tiny, loud, annoying, and we never f-ing die'. When I thought about it, doesn't most of the fandom represent the characters? For Dib, we're usually curious and get really over-excited about stuff like the Operation Doom DVD, plus we're insanely dedicated to our cause. Also, we can sometimes be patient when trying to explain things, but usually give up and just get frustrated at how huanity has twisted itself and just 'doesn't get it', it being the show's deeper meanings.  For Gaz, we can be very dark and  kind of disturbing, and use violence as a way of connecting with the characters. For Gir, we can be extremely random and often go off on things completely unrelated to what we started talking about in the first place, and seem to have an attatchment to moose and pigs, making them rnning jokes in fanart. For the Tallests, we can be quite sarcastic, but very full of ourselves and condecending, especially to the newer fans, the fangirls, and the 'Om-Girs'. For Tak, we think very hightly of ourselves even if we don't get dealt the best hand from Nick, and concoct over the top but amazingly awesome ideas to keep Zim alive. Plus, we can outthink our competitors. Finally, we're like Zim because we like to huddle under our delusions, often pretty much worship our leader (Jhonen) and will do anything to accomplish our mission of getting the show back. Plus we yell a lot. Do you see my point?
