Who can participate?

Anyone who applies during the application period. No previous experience required. No skill requirements. All art levels are accepted.

🩵 What types of mediums are allowed?

Any medium (that is pdf compatible) is allowed as long as you can crop, edit, color-correct to match the zine guidelines and prepare your piece accordingly.

Only cover artists need a portfolio. For our cover we’re looking for an artist with experience drawing animals

Hello! I’m @lanphelt and I’m happy to announce a danganronpa v3 charity fanzine which is currently taking applications!

Ever since Trigger Happy Havoc I’ve been a huge admirer of Danganronpa with a lot of love for it to give and I wanted to express my graditude to the newest installment of the franchise by creating a zine from fans for fans.

I’m sure a lot of you want to join the project and express your love for it as well!

Believe is a non-profit fanzine and all profit will go to charity

Any artstyle and skill level is welcome to apply

This is a multi-fandom zine. You can pitch any fictional character across anime, cartoons, movies, and novels. Depictions of real life people will not be allowed.

Contributors will be asked to use one of the project's secret colors in their piece — more information will be given when the colors are released. (If you've participated in one of our speedruns before, it'll be the same drill)

We're looking for irredeemable characters. Not a character with flaws... not a character with a redemption arc you felt was inadequate or lacking.

🐑 What types of mediums are allowed?

Traditional art is allowed as long as you can scan, clean, and crop your art accordingly. Photography (photos that you have taken) is okay as long as you are able to incorporate the project color into your final piece.

🐑 How will this project work?

Artists will just have to provide the art that fits the template.

Theme: The theme is Sleep (inspired by counting sheep) + Day and Night. We're asking artists for daytime and nighttime versions of their wallpapers. Compositions can be the same but just colored differently (examples can be provided in the server) Sleep does NOT have to be represented in both wallpapers, just in the set.

Project color: like always theres one SPECIFIC shade that everyone must use in all their wallpapers. How you use it is up to you.

Mod Lucy will ensure uniformity by adding credit names and exporting wallpapers to be the same size.

All the PNGs will be zipped and the wallpapers will be downloadable through itch.io

IMPORTANT: For this project you are required to draw sheep. Rams will also be allowed. For this project only animal sheep will count as sheep. Biped/animal crossing styled sheep will count as sheep. Humans with sheep features will not count.

Due to the nature of this zine you will NOT be able to reroll anything. What you get is what you get.

Due to the nature of this zine, you will not be able to add additional characters that you did not RNG for — writers will still be able to name drop other characters for plot purposes.

Using the color palette:

We have provided a list of colors that the RNG will choose from when assigning you a color.

Artists: You only have to use one color. It does NOT have to be monochromatic. You can pair it with other colors of your choosing. (Think Huevember or even the color palette challenge)

Writers: How you interpret and incorporate the color into your piece is up to you. The color will be used as the accents on your fic page. Any kind of association to the color is valid.

🍱 For The Road — a bento & travel zine

Characters: Not necessary. Focusing on just food & travel is fine

Theme: The focus of this project is Bento—or lunch boxes made for traveling. We'll be focusing on the three stages of a bento's life: prep, travel, eat.

About the bento life stages (These are our the vibes we had when conceptualizing the project but are open to other interpretations) 1. Prep — a "made with love" type of vibe making a bento the night before or the morning of 2. Travel — a "journey" esque vibe. something scenic with like a "where waldo"-bento moment. 3. Eat — the consumption. It could happen while traveling (i.e eating on the train) or at the destination. It could be with a friend... at the zoo... etc.

Although we're using the term "bento" — which has a specific japanese lunchbox connotation—we will accept other types of travel food as well, including but not limited to: lunch boxes, brown paper bags, convenience store lunches.

Characters are not necessary if you just want to focus on the food & travel aspect.

The food should be pictured in your piece... even if not the main focus — i.e. having the bento being held and not stored away when traveling

Any method of travel is fair game—walking, biking, running, train, subway, airplane.... horse?
