Not everyone had been all ‘Valentine’d up lately. Clark had spent the majority of the past few weeks distracted - since he remembered who he really was - and so was for whatever reason left to his own devices. He was sitting in the coffee shop, passing on the Mint Strawberry Valentine’s Mocha, in favor of a black coffee with cream and sugar. But it was a good time to write an article about it, just the same. “Excuse me,” he said to the person at the next table, looking over to them. “What’s your take on this whole Valentine’s Day thing? A time of true love? Or an excuse for the candy and flower companies to boost their business?”
