This Italian Baked Potato Chip Sandwich combines the flavors of Italy with a crunchy twist from baked potato chips. It's a delightful blend of savory salami, creamy provolone, tangy roasted red peppers, and briny olives, all topped with a zesty pesto sauce.
Ingredients: 1 baguette, sliced. 1 cup Italian baked potato chips. 4 slices provolone cheese. 8 slices salami. 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup pesto sauce.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Slice the baguette lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet. Layer provolone cheese, salami, roasted red peppers, and black olives on one side of the baguette. Spread pesto sauce on the other side of the baguette. Top the sandwich with Italian baked potato chips. Close the sandwich and wrap it in foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sandwich is heated through. Slice the sandwich into desired portions and serve.
