Meandering

Fun with meter time! Part of the challenge I set myself was to put an F sound in a different foot in every line, without ever using the word "flood":

The future is told in the way the snake moves

Scrawled in a flow that bleeds fate in its stains

As shedding reticulates fields into veins.

The slough a foretelling of riches to bloom

But the songs in the coils hiss refrains of what's due.
