Heeey, look it's an update on this previous drawing...only took me three months. (So I didn't make it for Pride Month like I wanted...)

Added some newer faces since I've made a bunch of new trainers with the recent games since the last time I did a huge drawing like this.

If I ever mention making another drawing with 23 characters in it, shoot me.

I will take questions on any of the characters here.

Meet the next generation of the Zapiarty clan! Akira Zapiarty and Zion (Reese) Zapiarty! Akira is the adopted daughter of Mason and Cheren, while Zion is the agender child that Jay and Terry (and “Aunt Koi”) take in. Zion pretty much...accidentally teleported to the Zapiarty Manor in Sinnoh as a very young kid, and after discovering they were an orphan, Jay decided to adopt them. Zion sorta came with their Abra, Zatara, while Akira’s main partner Pokemon is Albus, son of Cheren’s Serperior and Mason’s Seviper.

Akira and Zion are roughly the same age, despite their parent’s decade long age gap, but they’re not exactly close. Akira is a gentle soul but very stern. She takes after Cheren in that regard. She doesn’t much like her cousin’s attitude of just...waiting for things to happen. Going with the flow. Zion likes naps and doesn’t let things drag them down. They’ve learned that the world is awful, so what’s the point of worrying about it? Isn’t it just better to just let it be? What is, is. 

The one thing Zion is passionate about is outer space, to the point that they want to travel to the stars someday. (They’ve made Terry promise to take them up on Tepeu or Quetzalcoatl when they’re older...)
