“Hey.” It’s hard to imagine Donny being anything but a hulking nightmare of booze and bad pick up lines, but he can, on rare occasion, have some sense.

He wasn’t stupid, he noticed right away when the chatter across the hall died down, when more takeout delivery people entered the hall instead of his neighbor actually stepping out. It was quiet and tense and even if he’s probably the worst neighbor in existence, he wasn’t the worst guy in the world.

“Hey, uh...just wanted to check up. Haven’t seen you outside in a while.” He speaks up, gently tapping at the other’s door. “...You doin’ okay kid?”

                          the garden was still; evening crickets accentuated the drips of midnight dew dripping from the nearby bleeding hearts and foxgloves, and the moon lit their delicate petals to reveal their painted veins. mayu sat amongst the garden she tended to so meticulously, legs folded under her and her biwa sat on her lap. in her right hand she held her plectrum and strummed the strings of the instrument, causing a melancholy sound to erupt amongst the stillness. it didn’t distract her from the sense that she was being joined. it was funny to her how she could hardly remember the words to the story that accompanied her playing, when so many years ago she knew it by heart.                           “ good evening, ”

OH absolutely? I already do! Yunno, in the privacy of my dumb old mind! Sometimes, I will sit down and consider some of my muses would look really good together, and lowkey, I do enjoy toying with the possibilities of making that an actual aspect of their backgrounds in some form. I know that Marcelo and Margo met at some point in their youth and there might or might not have been some sparks involved, even in the recent past. And I know that Ludo, for all his anger and hatred and being a whole dumbass, bears a subconscious love for Red that borders on the evangelical. And if that ain’t some gay shit, I don’t know what is!
