nix was dying for some ice cream, after his long day. as he walked in, his smile went from ear to ear. there was one other person in line, for some reason they looked familiar. he walked over and stood next to them, looking over to chuckle just a bit. "well damn, here there stranger." he mused, thinking it was funny they both wanted ice cream at the same time. "how you been kajsa? haven't seen you in a minute." he mused, his tone friendly.

After years of his adoptive daughters flying the coop and traversing the world, Marcel was appreciative that Holly and Sovaia not only resised in Palmview now but that they both worked in the same Mango Bay district Retro Roots was located in. With all of them within walking distance, it made setting up quick dates that much easier. Today, he sat alongside Sovaia at one of the provided tables. Lunch having been eaten and settling in their stomachs, he turned to his daughter, "Are you heading back to the gallery after this? If so, I'll walk with you. New season, new works, I've yet to check out." He picked up his cucumber lemonade, swirling it in circles to break up the ice that had compacted together, "Plus, I've got a question to ask."

“  i  have  a  proposal,  ”  cairo  declares,  taking  a  sip  (or  rather,  a  chug)  of  what  might  be  her  third  drink  before  setting  it  down  on  the  table.  she  leans  in  close  like  she's  divulging  a  secret,  eyes  flitting  between  sovaia  and  the  karaoke  stage.  “  you.  me.  we get up there and  sing  a  song  together.  preferably  chappell  roan,  but  i'm  not  picky.  ”

it's  been  quite  some  time  bryn  dared  to  be  so  bold.  texting  indigo  risky  texts,  sending  even  riskier  pictures.  but  something  about  her  sparked  so  much  intrigue  within  her  very  being  that  bryn  decided  to  play  way  more  than  she  would  with  a  regular  friends  …  with  benefits.  usually,  she  doesn't  let  any  of  her  special  friends  close  as  she's  let  indigo  and  it's  both  scary  and  exciting  to  make  an  exception  to  her  rule.  wrapped  in  a  silky  see-through  wardrobe,  bryn  opens  up  with  a  sly  smirk.  “  i  hope  you  didn't  break  any  laws.  ”

there  aren't  enough  books  on  display,  isabel  thinks,  as  she  peruses  the  table  labeled  ‘  lgbtq+  books  ’  eligible  for  the  20%  discount.  and  certainly  not  enough  sapphic  books,  that's  for  sure.  “  do  you  think  the  discount  only  counts  for  explicitly  queer  books,  or  does  it  constitute  for  subtext,  too?  ”  they ask,  flipping  through  the  pages  of  a  book  they're  definitely  not  going  to  purchase.  “  because  if  so,  the  picture  of  dorian  gray  should  totally  be  here.  ”
