            “Stupid, Hak.” She huffed, her petite feet stomping against the ground with hardly any sound. “Why does he always have to be so stubborn.” Marching over to the nearest tree she pressed her back against the bark. W h y did he have to be this way? It wouldn’t hurt to try after all. It was more than understandable why he wanted to preserve her father’s view, but she needed to wield a stronger weapon than a bow for her sake. If she wanted to do her best  at resolving the unknown chaos her father’s rein had left she’d need to be able to protect herself. Of course she had Hak and the other dragons but what if a scenario occurs that they won’t be able to reach her position? If encountered by soldiers or other dangers the knowledge of how to defend herself with a sword would come in handy. More so if she was defending others.

           “Why won’t you let me grow stronger..” Murmuring to herself in a hushed tone, her expression quickly lifted at the sight of her emerald haired friend. “Hi, Jae Ha! Anything new happening?”

The crimson haired girl had been carrying a small bag of herbs in her arms. She had been wandering through the forest with her hood up, searching the ground. Hopefully she’ll be able to find something new!

But because she had believed she was alone in the forest, Shirayuki ended up smashing her nose into another persons chest. This also had her drop all of the plants, scattering them about. “Oh shoot!” She frantically shot down to the ground, trying to gather them as fast as she could.

“Ah, I’m very sorry! I thought I was alone so I wasn’t paying much attention!” She tried her best to keep her head low, as to not attract much attention to her red hair. But she did bow, showing that she did have some manners.

He had seen many strange things in his life, but this event, this event was new to him. A stranger approaching him speaking of his birthday as well as carrying a present for him. What kind of stranger would give another stranger a present for his birthday? Still he was not one to reject such gesture, after all it was such wonderful gesture something that he could appreciate. Especially when it involved practical items that he could easily carry around with him, though the good luck charm did surprise him. It was of beautiful craftsmanship, not that fake stuff that he used to see back at Awa.  ‘’ Thank you sir, but I have to wonder, why would you give such thing to me? ‘’ But the answer to his inquiry soon came, so he knew of the princess and how he travels together with her. ‘’ Don’t worry, I will ‘’ he held the jade charm in his palm before flashing his trademark smirk, ‘’ So what did you say your name was again? ‘’

He didn’t exactly lie in knowing, but he thought the full truth wouldn’t be a good idea to say. So after his gift was opened, and the thanks was given, he merely bowed his head to the green dragon, and offered a sort of childish smile. He couldn’t help it, he was truly childish at heart.

“That’s good... she was... she was important... although, I doubt she would remember me at all. I really only worked under her father, or stayed in my room.” There was a slight hint of melancholy to his voice, but he didn’t really say much about it, only hinted that there was more than he was letting on. “So... if you can be safe, and protect her, then that’s all that matters, right? Then I can repay the little kindness she gave me.” He finally raised his head, and carried a wide smile, before he bowed it quickly in greeting. “My name is Seo Ryang, sir. I’m just a traveller now. I’m actually really glad to have met you in person, rather than through rumours... The people of Aya say hello... and they hope you aren’t flirting too much.”
