This is a giant honker of a fanfic that will likely never see the light of day because it would be such a big project for me, requiring very careful organization.
I posted chapter one as an interest check, but the catalyst for the story is that when the minor family lays siege to the major family home, as soon as Kan arrives Pete takes an unauthorized sniper shot to his head and immediately kills him.
So the story springboards off of that - Kim has just finished murdering all the goons at Yok's bar to save Chay, and he gets a ping as to what's happened on his phone. The ping indicates that he needs to get to Macau and book it with him, going into hiding until things blow over. The minor family safehouses will have all been immediately compromised on Kan's death for reasons.
So Macau and Kim go on the run after finding a diary and an old cellphone under the floorboard's of Macau's mother's old room. They have ~secrets.

Pete navigates keeping Vegas alive while they all uncover more information about Honey, and begin piecing the puzzle together between Honey's paintings, drawings, and the diary and cellphone found by Macau earlier to paint an even more horrific picture of the things that Korn as done.
Then everyone teams up to take down Korn!
