My grandma, mom and auntie in the 70s, photo taken by my grandpa.

Grandpa was the island doctor in our homecounty, our family lived on the island of Zlarin when my mom was little, and grandpa would travel by boat to all the nearby island and visit his patients.

This is the sight he'd see every time he'd leave.

Grandma also took the boat to her job in the town of Šibenik. Mom and auntie were babysat by a lovely, older neighbor who they absolutely adored.

impressions from island Zlarin. When the plague spread to the town of Šibenik, all the local nobility fled to the island Zlarin, and that’s why there’s fancy old villas there, such as the one on the last photo, which even has a private chapel next to it.
