@znachorkaa sent: “You’re dripping blood on the carpet.”
Ivakir felt something running down her nose. She held up her fingers and was not very surprised when she saw blood mixed with snot. Looking down, she saw two small red specks, perfectly round, as if they were part of a pattern on the carpet.
Judging by her voice, she was not sorry at all. She didn’t care about the cheap ugly carpet and how hard it was to wash the blood off anywhere ("Use only cold water", an inner voice just told her). It talks a lot about a person when the first thing they say is not that you bleed, but that you smeared their carpet.
Ivakir bent over the spots, putting her hands on her bony knees, looking as if she had found something interesting on the ground, as if she was ready to say "Well, well, well, what do we have here?". She spat on the floor, right where there were two perfect round spots - You don't expect less from the witch - and began to rub it with her finger. The tip of the finger has already turned red.
"Thousands of apologies, madam. Look, it's all clean now," she straightened and made a mocking bow. The spots, of course, didn’t disappear. It will take something more serious than saliva or a finger to remove.
