@mr-henry-lascelles replied to your post “ If you had to play a sport for one game/race, what sport would you...”
Darling, I may be older, but consider our height difference. I do not intend to *let* you win.
You’d be on my team, silly.
I'm still very offended over someone on this Tumblr insinuating I'd be unfamiliar with Shakespeare.
mr-m-a-thomas:
I cannot say if it is precisely self-aggrandizement, a compliment or an insult to say so, but I suspect it of being somewhere around eight or nine out of ten Byrons. You must allow me to work on it a little more before I can even show you the sketch, my love. I confess I am a little nervous. I do hope you will like it.
Oh! That's quite high. I can't wait to see it~(人´∀`*)♥

"Pardon me, sir. I was wondering if you could indulge me by answering a question that has long since puzzled me. Could-- Ah, wait, first..." He hands Thomas a pencil and notebook before continuing: "Could you please draw me a cassowary tree?"
Now, Drawlight recalls that Thomas had been abroad to somewhere that started with an "A" but the obvious answer had flown out of his head. Instead, he'd decided it must have been Australia, the source of his arborous conundrum.
"It's difficult to imagine how such large birds could grow on a tree (is it because they're blue? no, no, can't be it; they're not that blue...) so I think I need an illustration before I can properly visualize it. It's no trouble, I hope? You're the only one I can trust to address this quandary with any degree of accuracy."
Seeing nothing at all amiss with his request and train of thought, he smiles and takes a few steps back, knowing it's polite to give artists their space, though he still can't help but peer expectantly at the paper, brimming with eager curiosity.
