I think the MM fandom has been the first fandom I had to literally step away from because it was negatively affecting me (I even deleted my old tumblr account!). The voltron fandom is definitely a 2nd runner up I'm even afraid of going in the tags for both because I know what I'll see. I'm just done with the toxicto

Oh god same. Like honestly, I’m oblivious to a lot of shit regardless of fandoms or outside of fandom space, but a huge reason I’m oblivious to like. Oh if I’ve seen blank fanart or this or that fanfic yet- I don’t go in the tags. Like, I haven’t read a fic that wasn’t zine related or a friends in ages. In agesssss, and I absolutely fucking refuse to step foot in the tag, to be honest I think aside from two times in the past...year? if it wasn’t for gathering submissions for a character/ship week, I didn’t step foot in the tag. Last time I did I saw the same bullshit about how Yoosung is a cousin fucker first thing, and how Jumin practices sexual rope tying on a cat, along with a shitton of character hate or some bullshit. Like heyo- no, I’m too tired. Theres too much bullshit in this fandom for me to feel drained just glancing at the first ten posts in the tags.

I’ve been in other fandoms where people fussed about bad endings, and yeah I fussed about bad endings too, but you know what happened? The worst I saw was that they sent 300 cupcakes to the company that were all the same flavor to describe how the choices they presented didn’t actually matter- like THAT was some of the biggest ‘drama’ I had seen, and it was just fucking funny.

This fandom is absolutely ridiculous and just even thinking about trying to seriously browse the tag without 30+ filtered words feels draining.

I'd love to see what else you're into! Came for the MM fics but stayed bc I like you as a person. I will forever love and hold the characters dear to me but I just think its time to move on. Done with the drama and I'm too tired to keep up. If something no longer gives you joy then let it go but not before thanking it for the memories it gave you. Don't feel pressured to keep the blog alive if you don't want to though

Yeah i feel like this has really tipped me over the edge with cheritz. I wasnt too excited for Vs after end but now im just. Not going to get it. My opinion of them has really dropped because of ths. Triggers are a serious thing and not something a company like that should overlook so easily - esp when saerans route had one.

 Yeah this is ridiculous. I’m done with the company. I hate to sound like the insane fans that try to dictate how Cheritz should treat their characters or some bullshit, but any love you see me giving the mm folks is love purely for the characters and not at all for the company. Fuck the company at this rate. This along with their other issues with customer service and shit- done.

Wait, what secret photo? I haven't been keeping up with the fandom since I decided to take a social media break.

I’m not too sure if this ever hit the tumblr side of the fandom, but I’m kinda like...post things on here and don’t really go looking in fandom tags unless I’m helping mod a week or something, but-

SK has a huge issue with upskirt photos/secret photos/etc etc. I’m aware other places have it bad too, including the US, but from what it sounds like it’s Insanely Terrible over there. I think this might be due to the fact that they block porn sites and etc over there, from what I understand, so people go overboard with this kind of illegal activity.

Basically, you can skim the articles and see that this is a Huge Issue over there, and has been vocally spoken out against more due to the MeToo movement that started.

So, keeping those articles in mind, the summer chats about Seven going to take a picture of Zen nude, despite Zen outright saying no, and Seven making a remark on how he needs to check and see if his camera is still working when Zen leaves the chat- thats..................thats really shitty of Cheritz, a company that says it’s creating content for women. (it also makes Seven look pretty fucking shitty, when while he’s a huge walking meme, I really don’t want it to be anywhere near canon that he’s willing to stoop that low)

Over in the US I think a lot of us didn’t take much notice to it besides just being a little confused, but over in SK.....this sort of thing is a huge issue, and something a lot of women have to deal with. So Cheritz doing this is super confusing??

As far as I’m aware, a lot of Korean fans emailed Cheritz about it and Cheritz did apologize, so that’s good- but I’m more ??? over why in the world they decided to do that anyway?? So it’s stuff like that that has been making me squinty eyes at Cheritz more than usual.

I've been trying to get Jumin's BRE2 and I'm going mad (in the crazy & angry sense). I can't seem to get it by just missing chats and choosing "I want to leave" options during the visual novels. It seems that the 2nd bad relationship endings are harder to acquire as I had the same problem with Yooung's. It would just take me to the normal ending. Do you have any tips Scum?

Ahhhh, I don’t _(:’3 」∠ )_ The BREs make me sad in most of the routes so I kinda avoided them, like some of the depressing bad ends hhghsbghbfh. If you go to his wiki under route tips (here) they have some tips for bre2!

But, yeah, I kinda stopped trying to get BE’s and BRE’s after Ray route  ⁝(๑⑈௰⑈) That might make me look like a bad fan or something, but ahhh....I Just feel happier playing it however

The wiki is really cool now if you (and others) haven’t seen it in a while! They have a lot of details in tabs and I like going and looking at trivia sections (or revisiting to make sure I’m remembering this and that correctly). I’m really surprised that people went so in depth with it since I’m used to most wikis just being white and pretty blank.

Yeah..... y e a h.... I can see a lot of the future discourse about the possibilities of it.

Like hhhh I’m a bit vocal that I don’t like her, but a route set *before* all of that stuff I would at least read summaries about, you know? I think my biggest hang up is that it’ll probably be a shitton more romantic than Jaehee’s route. Which isn’t either character’s fault but moreso a gripe with the company.

People are probably gonna say that it’s hypocritical for anyone who enjoyed saeran’s route to be uneasy about her having a route, but hhh......they also completely disregard key things she did when they say that....

We all go through rough patches sometimes! It's okay to feel down but as a wise man once said, "Being weak is nothing to be ashamed of. However staying weak is". Don't let the feelings weigh you down and work through them! (I hope this doesn't sound insensitive adfhj)

I try not to but sometimes aaaa everything combines into one big depression cloud and it’s hard to fight out of it. T_T Usually writing helps me work through it, or other things I’m dealing with, but writing was causing some of the depression instead so nothing was helping orz I think that’s why I keep getting so frustrated

I’m really happy so many people sent me nice words and encouragements. T_T Thank youuuu, I really appreciate it. It’s good to keep in mind sometimes you just get sad and you dont gotta punish yourself for it
