Why is it so hard for an aqua Venus to be in a romantic relationship?

It can be difficult for an Aquarius Venus to be in a relationship for two reasons.

A) Aquarians tend to have difficulty dealing with their emotions. They tend to believe that feelings are not something that you can trust easily or completely. With an Aquarius Venus, a person may believe that it’s simply easier for them to push romantic feelings (which they may believe to be unhelpful and distracting) away in favor of logic.

B) Relationships don’t really make sense to them. Though Aquarians do love to learn, they are oftentimes skeptical of anything that isn’t backed up by fact. An Aquarius Venus may distrust the idea of ‘unconditional love’ since it can be difficult to prove. This can cause distance, as the cynicism associated with ‘unconditional love’ can also be associated with the partner themself.

C) This reason is more specific, and may only appear in certain partners, but an Aquarius Venus firmly believes that a partner should move forward with them, not hold them back. This isn’t to say that an Aquarius Venus will not help a partner in a time of need. However, if an Aquarius Venus feels like they are constantly providing emotional support to a partner who doesn’t give back, they will likely feel the need to move on quickly and find another who is not only supportive, but can keep up with the Aquarius Venus.
