Honestly Im so glad my friend not only convinced me to watch The Ancient Magus' Bride but spoiled it upfront that dude does NOT know what marriage is (or any sort of human emotion and relationship is, at that) and sat through the first episodes with me 😅

It's such a wonderful story and I just wish my first contact with it hadn't been through weirdos that wanted Chise and Elias to bang in the first season. (Or at all.)

I'm almost done with the second season and can't get enough I love the colors and music and magic!!!! And the characters are all so likeable, i mean just look at Zoe. Cutie patootie. I want a big furry dog familiar toooo or a magic cat, magic cat works too!

HEADCANNON TIME

Zoe is technically transmasc (he's so me coded, he's so trans coded), but while dressing, he gives off genderfluid vibes. He gives less than two shits what gender he gives off in his clothing style and feels comfortable telling that to his friends.

Lindel is the same way with his clothing style, but he prefers clothing that does not stick to him or show his body. Baggy pants, fluffy sweaters, giant cloaks, and fuzzy socks are his jam. If his style was a TV show, it would be golden girls for sure. He loves jewelry and trinkets like rings and earrings.

Philomela prefers to make all her own clothing and has taken up crochet and sewing. She has made many articles of clothing for her friends, including hats, gloves, and even a pair of fuzzy headphones for Zoe. Philomela loves the pastel goth and cottage core styles and sews herself lots of cute dresses and shirts. She has a collection of parasol umbrellas she switches out with her outfits.

Chise loves the typical 'butch lesbian' style of clothing. Warm flannels, work boots, and heavy-duty pants are her favorite since she works in the gardens so often. She has a favorite hat that philomela crocheted her.
