There was this one bonus illustration that kore drew of lindel that had him looking in the camera surrounded by hands that are grabbing after him, that made me think that he might have some sa related trauma. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has considered it.

I also wonder whether there might be a gender component to it. In that illustration a few of the hands specifically had painted nails, so if he was preyed after by women maybe he's uncomfortable around them?

Thinking about it, lindel tends to not really treat others as equals but as children, maybe that is a coping mechanism to keep other people at a friendly distance? What do you think?

I doubt its to keep them at distance, pretty sure on that end its just cause hes old but I think him keeping people at distance in general is because of that. He tends to isolate himself from humans AND fae to just avoid interaction with them out of distrust.

The text in that photo, btw, also says that yamazaki would describe him as a person who was "loved too much", yamazaki writes real life situations into her story (like Alice's backstory, for example), so i wouldn't be necessarily too shocked if it is written this way, i just hope its written well because there are a lot of animes/mangas that write it and brush it off as a joke or really quickly.

Ive never expressed my opinion or my theory for this but man, its been rotting in the back of my mind for so long

I genuinely think theres going to be some sort of allegory for SA, specifically for lindels backstory. Theres quite the few of hints towards it, especially when they talk about him hating the love he receives from neighbour's and "good people" alike.

Key points I noticed in the new chapter:

The twins:

Jasmine and violets personalities are swapped and Jasmines hair is long like violets, shes regressed to how she was before being deemed heir to the family, shes shown as happier, more expressive, and violets more preserved and more serious, it shows their old personalities, or maybe even just their real ones.

Gabriella and simon:

Gabriella is shown as more messy, aggressive, and filled with rage instead of her usual playfulness, in a previous chapter, she mentions how important names are, and in here, she's lost her name and is fully aware of it, and you can see her breaking down because of it, she even threatens to torture the woman who made her lose her memories and bites Simon, however, it does show her coughing up the blood which could be a way of showing that it was more out of instinct and less of malicious intent. (Or just choking in general but yk.)

Elias and the lady:

She says shes within him but I dont know if its like alcyone and Adam where its a curse or her soul or just the real "elias" in general, however, it does imply that she is the one who created him, and also, shes the one who saved chise from the first season when elias pinned her down and almost potentially killed her (on accident).
