if i were zoeys friend i’d tell her to reject max period
imo clearly setting a boundary makes it easier to get (back) together in a healthy way
i know it’s fiction so maybe her rejecting max would make it weird(or less interesting?) if she came back to him later whenever she’s ready/emotionally available BUT i kinda hate how entitled and pissy he seems even if its kind of justifiable because she didn’t fully reject him
