Gah, so many little things about the original Flatliners kill me. Kiefer’s so great, really.
How horrified he is when he finally realizes that he’s been the one physically hurting himself is fantastic.
And then when Dave unknowingly tells him to go atone to a dead boy, and then leaves him... that emptiness. Because Dave has such faith in him to do the right thing when he has no idea what Nelson’s actually done.
But at that point, neither of them realize that the key isn’t gaining atonement for their sins, but learning to forgive themselves.
I love how the more Nelson destroys himself over Billy Mahoney, the younger... and almost innocent? he starts to look.

It still would have been better if Nelson had ended up with Dave
Eh, Dave and Rachel was 100% stress response, stuff like that never works out. Just ask Sandra Bullock's character in speed 2 ;)

Oddly, his douche behavior really made the character real to me - when we get the backstory it made so much sense.
I think I just always forget how much of a cocky douche he is. They all are ridiculous pretentious egoists, really, except maybe Rachel. Dave pretends that he's not, but he is. Or maybe Nelson pretends that he is, when he's not.
You know, I hate Julia Roberts, but watching basically everyone awkwardly try to hit on her and get shot down is pretty fucking funny.
Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries is a GIFT.
With an added bonus of Toby Schmitz in this episode. Sans ridiculous moustaches. ;)
Westworld.
Jesus Christ I am horny for your magnificence/
(Mind you, any time Nolan brings in Radiohead it’s a pretty good bet things are gonna get fucking -brilliant-)
