Redrew my Gorillaz fan character from when I was a kid! Feels pretty validating to see her drawn how I always imagined her. This is Zombie Lily! Because I was 10 when I named her.

I really needed to draw something that wasn’t work related! Another re-draw, this time from a HIGHSCHOOL drawing that I used to really like!

I feel like I’m having a meltdown, sorry for the lack of updates.

One of ZL’s favourite Disney movies! Stitch is her favourite, so there was no arguing that she was going to dress up as him this year for Halloween :3 Made for a great couple costume with her pet, Earl the Squid!

How was my birthday? Well, I got a tattoo!! I have finally joined the mod community, and I can easily say this will be the first of many :)

The design was made by one of my favourite artists, linzb0t! We worked on this design together for a while, and I couldn't be happier. I knew she would be able to capture Zombie Lily and Earl's personalities, and the lillies and cat skull really wrap everything up!

There was some smaller details that had to be removed, and we ended up flipping the image because I wanted it on my right leg and apparently faces look better facing inwards rather than out.

Warren, at Rockstar Inc in Hamilton, was the one to make this design permenant, and I couldn't have asked for a better tattooist! We had a lot of laughs, great conversation and although I was definitely feeling nervous because of the placement of my tattoo (upper thigh) and having anyone be around there, he helped me get over that and told me some funny stories to help break the ice. I will definitely be going back to him, as we love a lot of the same things, even art wise, and we both enjoy bold line work!

I WILL be getting this coloured (freckles will be added in then), but I was really feeling it towards the end (the leaves on the side were making my leg tremble), and wasn't sure if I'd be able to handle colouring, at that time. I'm crossing my fingers for the end of November, though!

I went in not really sure what to expect pain wise, and it honestly felt like a bad sunburn afterwards. The thin lines hurt more than the thick ones, and apparently I took it like a champ! I was more worried about moving TBH, so I focused a lot on staying still, and I enjoyed watching it all come together!

Also, I want to give a shout out to dokidorki (and her parents) who took me to my appointment and helped with the laughs and is still answering my questions about healing!

I will definitely keep you updated with this as we add colour later! Thanks to everyone who made this possible!!

First of my characters attending the OC Ball is Zombie Lily!~

Of course, she will be attending with a guardian, who will be drawn later with their date as well!

ZL insisted on bringing a small bag with toys in it so she doesn't get bored. We keep checking it for that octopus thing she has (and we keep telling her she can not bring him) and so far so good!
