Actually got some notes down on some weirdo zambies with the help of @g-g-freak and my brother here’s a breakdown of what we’ve thought of
Hooks - Nothing seems particularly special about these zombies, except that hordes of Commons form hordes around them. Stops zombies from scattering and makes them deadlier.
Ferals - Small, spindly, and wiry. Fast, quiet zombies that can crawl along walls and ceilings.
Impalers - Larger zombies with bony spines growing from their ribs. Known for leaping at their victims and bear hugging them, thus, impaling them on their spikes.
Howlers - Immobile zombies that root themselves. Often found along the sides of building and skyscrapers or along the ground, it is unknown how they root where they do. They shriek an alarm that Commons follow whenever they smell the living.
Yoinks - Zombies with long tentacles on their backs and in place of arms. Some tentacles can grow up to ten feet. They grab their victims, and although they don’t attack on their own, the victim’s struggles often attract a horde of Commons to feed. This simple tactic is believed to be some sort of survival instinct.
And then Dad gave me the idea that maybe the virus reacts to certain medications or drugs that the victims might have in their bloodstream. Like steroids, for instance, might beef up zombies and make them excessively aggressive? I haven’t thought of anything else, but I’m open to suggestions.
