@hankawi
Started reading “The Martian” because I saw it in a thrift shop for 50¢.
Not far in (only 35 pages) but enjoying it so far.
Thinking of game development and I really would like to recreate a couple of games I made back home. I’d only I could transfer the skills rather than need to get the brain to learn how to code.
We have the artistic ability at least.
On another note, I wish I had the unlimited lives I have while not piloting the body. I want to reset this thing like I should be able to. (¬_¬)
Forgot to track sleep last night oh well. I’ve been fronting continuously since about 3pm yesterday anyway and sleep was interrupted a lot by the very cute kitten so I don’t think it counts.
Anyway, I continue to be the dangerous zombie that needs to be active for a while considering the long hours we’ll be working.
I find it almost distressing that I have so little I can name as something I “like.”
For the majority of my life, I had been solely defined by the products I could produce, the value I gave to the company, or what my wealth could theoretically give to another person (should they try to court me). I do enjoy making games. It is, genuinely, my passion.
However! I have very little outside of that.
This is, fundamentally, the question that has plagued me since I first started dating Dean during his time mentoring Zero-One: What am I beyond what I can produce? What am I beyond video game creation?
