"H-hey Jack." Sally walked over to where she saw the tattooed man standing. "Sorry I didn't get to you last night... I went home early my brother hasn't been around much and he had last night off so I thought it would be nice to spend time with him." She smiled a bit. "I'd love to pickup the movies whenever you get a chance to bring them... the house is kind of... quiet so it's nice to have something to watch." She ran her hand through her hair and looked up at him.
In a quiet, abandoned corner of the local park, a voice could be heard. Upon investigation, it could be seen that it was Jack practising his lines in front of his backpack, where a skull sat with the script open.
"This is the hag, when maids lie on their backs,That presses them and learns them first to bear, Making them women of good carriage. This is she - " A pause. "True, I talk of dreams, Which are the children of an idle brain, Begot of nothing but vain fantasy, Which is as... As... Drats. What is the end of that line?" He rubbed his hands across his face. "No, no, a plague on both your houses is in a different scene entirely. Were you even paying attention?" Jack finally moved from where he was standing, lifted the book and began reading through it while sitting on the grass.
"Good day to you! I am not far should you need any assistance finding anything in-store today. I cannot, however, make the same promise about helping you with that goblin-dragon over your shoulder..."
Quite alright Jack. This is my friend, his name is Fireball.

The lights were bright on the stage, but the rest of the room was shrouded in shadows, The sole focus the models strutting across the stage in the designs Sally had created. She was beaming as she made sure each outfit was perfect before the coordinator gave a nod and shoo'd the next one out onto the stage. He was very very precise about it all. But that was what made the show run perfectly. She watched each one go out, so elegant... and in her clothing none the less.
"Sally. Change. You're on in five." His voice cut through her thoughts. Ugh the speech. It was just thank you's but there were so many people here.
She went back to change into another design of hers, a simply black dress, fitted but the skirt fell into a deep orange which faded into pink. It was certainly unique but it suited her. She stood at the edge of the stage, her nerves getting the better of her. Where was Jack? He'd been here just before she'd gone to change.... It was then the voice and the words coming from the stage registered with the nervous woman.
"I knew she'd be here one day, from the moment I saw her first design.... so now, to say a few words on her own, My wife and the talent behind each of these amazing outfits... Sally Skelly!"
Jack flourished a hand behind him, the sign for Sally to walk out. As she did her eyes fell on those she knew best. Those from back home. Aurora, with Philip was front row, beaming up so proud of her. Zyler was here too. Belle... so many familiar faces... She almost lost ehr nerve then and there as she realized her father was seated at the very end of the stage, the look on his face wasn't anger, or disappointment...
He was proud of her.
As Sally stood at the end of the stage and started her speech thanking each and every person who made her dream come true. Jack's squeezed her hand with a gentle reassurance, giving Sally the courage to speak. Soon she was wrapping it up, with her father mentioned of course, even though she hadn't expected him to be there.
"And, It wouldn't be right for forget the one who always encouraged me and helped me get my start... My husband, Jack." She smiled, his arm sliding over her shoulders to pull her into a one armed hug as they paused for a photo shoot that Sally had known was coming.
"Kiss!" Aurora's voice carried to the two. Sally rolled her eyes and laughed a bit, but Jack took the suggestion to heart and turned, placing a gentle kiss on her lips as the camera's flashed. Both in her designs, the spotlights on them. Sally's cheeks flushed red as they turned to wave once more to the crowd and head back stage as the final speaker came to close everything out.
Sally Skelly designs. The only words she caught from the speaker made her smile. Suddenly out of no where two pairs of very small hands wrapped around her legs and Sally couldn't help but laugh. Her nervousness subsided as she reached down to pick up the little boy and Jack picked the little girl up.
"Mommy! Your dresses looked so pretty!" Another little girl, very much will Sally's vibrant red hair called out, she was a bit older than the other two, too big to be picked up.
"You were so cute when you out there Aisling darling." Sally ruffled the girl's hair. She beamed up at her.
"What about me?" The girl in Jack's arms demanded.
"And Me?!" The boy questioned, still in a suit mimicking his father's.
"Autumn, Casper, you know you were all perfect out there." She kissed each of their fore heads. "Who's ready to go out for supper? Only one more night in Paris before we have to go home, Two more days until October first you know Daddy always has a busy month in October."
"Me!" "Me!" "Me!" The chorus of little voices called out.
"I am, certainly would be nice to see our own place again too..." Jack laughed and took his wife's hand.
"Oh I'm sure Morgana and Sebastian are missing us too." She laughed.
"They're keeping an eye on the shop." Jack grinned at her as they slipped out of the chaos of the show ending and decorations being pulled down.
((Obvious question, but is there a fairytale or myth you and your roleplayer both adore?)
"Beauty and the Beast, I never quite understood why but it's always been a favorite of mine. But we actually agree on a lot. Though the original versions of some fairytales are either truly dark, or rather... stupid. If you look at snow white's the poor girl was seven! Of course, there's a chance some of the details were wrong... I do hope so."
[MSG] SALLY!!! SALLY'S CORNER IS OFFICIALLY READY. COME ROUND WHEN YOU GET THE CHANCE. :D :D :D
Sally couldn't help but laugh at the text message. Jack seemed so excited... she could just see his expression... she couldn't help the silly grin on her face as she replied.
[SMS] Sally's Corner?? I'll be by in a few, I need to get out of the house anyway.
