Just jumping on the bandwagon to crow about how amazing HBO’s The Last of Us is. Every aspect of this show is carefully and thoughtfully crafted, from the writing to the acting, set design, cinematography, and sound design. Some visuals seem directly pulled from the game, but in such a way as to be in line with this powerful storytelling. Every episode has ripped my heart out thus far, but no more so than the third episode, which took side characters from the game and expanded their story into a profoundly moving exploration of humanity.
