I don’t get why they’re reviving them over and over again. I understand what it’s in reference too, but they’re not explaining it in the series (and I doubt they will), so it seems foolish. Somebody who has no prior knowledge of Cutie Honey, or rather, has never read the Tennyo Densetsu manga, will be very confused.
It’s also idiotic, because nobody is questioning it? Like, Honey isn’t going “oh wait, didn’t I kill you before?”. I don’t understand why they don’t include other Claws (like ones from 90′s or Tennyo Densetsu) or just create their own. They’re also inconsistent as hell with the revivals. Like Scissors Panther, who never died, comes back “revived”, but then we see her normal form in episode 11. And why was Snake Panther the only one to get a complete design overhaul for her revived form? And where’s my girl Octo Panther?
Production REED sucks.
