Lavellan believes in the Maker, but an more elven version, they also believe that Andraste 'is a thing' but maybe not what humans think she is. They believe more in elven gods and a weird acclimation of other faiths. They believe but arent the praying time really, they respect traditions and other peoples faith but just kinda shrug at the end of the day.
Rosemary is the quivlent of a christian who was casually raised that way, hasn't attended services since she was a kid, but will happily tell you that she's Andrastian even tho shes a bit blurry on some of the details...
Elias is very very very devout. He was made fun of when he was a teenager, and he was kinda avoided by some of his peers because of it.
Did they sacrifice Hawke or the Warden? Why?
Only Lavellan has reached that point and they chose to leave Hawke since he was very insistant and offered from the start, which they thought that was brave and honorable. They figured he would not have said the thing unless he truely meant it and hoped that if they made a similar decision that it would be respected and looked back on as brave.
