ok here are some cool zomcat facts™

- zomcat is a very old cat plush that has the heart of a real cat sewn into it, thus giving it life. it was savory's experiment to see if he could create sentience from a inanimate object and to him it only half-worked

- zomcat's stuffing has very very small pieces of brain inside for whatever reason, giving it very basic intelligence,,, this is extremely realistic and recreatable science 👍🏿

- zomcat HATES cleaver pet (octavia's cleaver keychain) because it thinks that cleaver pet is trying to take its title of mascot. cleaver pet has a thimble sized brain and doesn't care in the slightest

- zomcat loves meat. it can eat literally anything (i like to think that its stomach is a pocket dimension or something) but it loves raw meat the most, though it can only eat it with ketchup added

- zomcat is a name given by octavia - savory insists on calling it by its experiment number (E-222) but tavia thinks zomcat is cuter.

- zomcat can play the drums

- zomcat can only die if its heart is pulled out - an even then it can be reanimated by sewing in a new one

- its birthday is christmas day and i want the actual comic to have a whole chapter dedicated to its backstory

- aaaaand its favorite human is octavia!
