GREENHOUSE MAKEOVER!!! Few years ago when I got this greenhouse I was trying to figure out how to mantain it warm😞. Since I placed it on our deck where is next to our kitchen (average 10ft high from the ground , there is a patio underneath ). My first try was a tarp…Ummm😩 not good at all…😨cold!!!then I place two plywood sheets & placed some vinyl tile😏…it worked till now😊 grown plenty veggies & flowers but…it absorbed so much rain lately that it started to decompose 😲plus the bugs😈with the sharpie stuff, creepy crawlies, spiders and every creature that loves humidity😠oh no no no! They are not welcome in my greenhouse! 😤 sooooooo what did we do? (😎we called Ghostbusters!!! ) I wish!😜 we went to home depot, searching for that one corner that has all the goodies😃, you know the one with all the returns, markdown & clearance! 😉 and…😆JACKPOT🎰🃏…wood flooring?! Would it work for the greenhouse? Really? (But we went to buy more plywood $8 ea (2) and $17 vinyl tiles!!! NOT!) From $86 markdown to $19 a box of 20 pieces! 😇I’m in heaven Thanks to my 👨lovely sweet husband! GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!😉 so we math it out, bought it and came home to put it together. We ripped out the old flooring, falling apart to pieces. Swept, vacuumed, and arranged some of the shelving. We layer the deck floor with a vinyl tablecloth, followed by a painters plastic tarp and then the wood flooring. We gathered and rolled the extra plastic to the bottom sides of the greenhouse and used few pieces of cupcake☺ duck tape to hold it place to prevent wood from getting wet from rain & snow. IT’S PERFECT! 😙 hubby did a great job💑.
