#zoo cottbus

I went to the local zoo today (they reopened last week - but without the animal houses and just the outside park area). But it was great weather today and I really needed to get out of the house for a change... so... off to the zoo. And I managed to take a few pictures I am quite happy with :)

Not the best shots from yesterday’s trip to the zoo... but I still like them. The porcupines had babies and they were hiding in their “cave”... I didn’t want to use a flashlight and scare them, so the photo is pretty dark and pixelated ... 

The parrots and the leopards were behind big windows and the light and sun made it tricky to take pictures without mirroring effects...

Pictures of today’s trip to the zoo in Cottbus. I didn’t even know they had new baby porcupines. They were so cute - it were two, but the two were running so fast, I was lucky I got at least a picture of them, even if it’s somewhat blurry.

And today also marks the first day I ever saw a peacock with it’s feather wheel open. I’ve never seen one myself, only pictures so far. 

And the baby lynx couldn’t stop and sit down to have a proper picture taken. But I am happy I got the shots somewhat okay.

All in all we were really lucky with the kind of animals we got to see today :D
