Recently I went to the zoo in Berlin and took a few pictures. I sadly didn’t have my “big” camera with me, so my small “business trip” camera had to make do. But I still managed to make a few nice snapshots.
Pictures I found in my folder earlier today while going through some pictures I took in the botanical garden in Berlin last year.
Saturday I visited the rose garden in Forst (Lausitz) with my parents. And while the roses really suffered from last weeks heavy rainstorms there were still many pretty flowers left and the garden itself was so wonderful and in parts nearly magical.
I enjoyed it there.
Some pictures I took in Nochten, a boulder park in a former surface mining site. The first picture shows the mining site that is still worked on.
It’s a pretty place. I was there in April and only now found time to sort through them. I especially liked the various colors of the heather. The pink ones were so pretty.
Not the best shots from yesterday’s trip to the zoo... but I still like them. The porcupines had babies and they were hiding in their “cave”... I didn’t want to use a flashlight and scare them, so the photo is pretty dark and pixelated ...
The parrots and the leopards were behind big windows and the light and sun made it tricky to take pictures without mirroring effects...
Went to the little zoo in Cottbus with my parents today and managed to take some pictures I am quite pleased with :3
I am especially happy I managed to take a picture of the kangaroo with its baby and the tiger sleeping in the grass :3
Went through older photos because my father requested a calendar for 2018 with photos I made... so I sorted through pictures I took in the Zoo in Berlin in 2015... here are four I especially liked.
Finally managed to go through my pictures I took at the international garden fair in Berlin... I was there in May... Though I still liked the “old” parts of the “Gardens of the World” the most. Especially the Chinese and the Korean garden parts.
First signs of spring.
Playing with Prisma and recent flower photos from my balcony and my parents garden
Some impressions of last week’s short business trip to Fulda (Germany).
Managed to take a few pictures of the firework in our street yesterday night :3
Happy new year to everyone!!
Some more icy impressions from a short walk during lunch break.
The frost today morning was pretty on the leaves and tiny mushrooms. Pictures taken with my iPhone.
My parents visited me over the long weekend and today we went to the local Park Branitz - which was one of the residences and gardens of Fürst Herman of Pückler-Muskau.
The small castle was just beautiful and charming and the autumn colors in the great park surrounding the castle were really pretty as well :D
Last full day of vacaion - tomorrow we’re heading home again - and we visited Quedlinburg toay. The town is an UNESCO world heritage site and super pretty! Here are some impressions of today’s tip - which was super hot with 93°F / 34°C)
A few impressions of day #5. We visited Wernigerode again (to pick up pictures of me in a medieval dress I got made on Monday :D They are great and I will share them once I am back home). We had m ore time to see town today and I was able to take some pictures of the historic city :3
-then we visited a mine (Büchenberg) and drove up to the top of the mountain called Wurmberg. All in all it was a great day again.
